What brings you to this spot?

Welcome, I think.  It's been many moons since I last posted a blog.  In fact, my wife just asked if i was blogging, like it was something dirty.  Yes, I'm blogging.  I remember the last blog i wrote about was that excitement of Sally's pregnancy.  Ainsley is now six, almost seven next year, and a lot has changed.  I have changed addresses twice, added another child (Abby 3 yrs)  and have changed professions.  The one, make that two things that have remained constant in my life are my love for  my Lord, and my love for my bride.  Two very important things in my life.  About my profession, strange how when times are tough people talk about their money, more than I ever remember.  Maybe that's because I was a teacher and really nothing really ever changed there.  But now in a job that deals in the 'real world', I hear it more.  I'm honestly not a big fan of talking economics.  I don't control it, have any say in it and honestly I ride it like waves in the ocean.  God controls it and I trust in him.  Enough of that... really!

I just came back from a men's meeting, pretty powerful.  It lead me to ask the question, who are you?  I have heard a question proposed twice now, and it had the same impact.  The question was, what team do you play for?  Do I wear the Christian man jersey with the pants decorated in the world's colors outfitted with the helmet of sin and temptation?  Wow... really what pants do I wear??  I know I want to see God's but I think I get lazy and just go with the flow.   I need to step out and stop wearing the world's pants... they are dirty anyways.

Right now I have too many things swimming in my head.  I have work reports and deadlines that I have to meet by friday, family coming to stay next week (woohoo!), and I'm traveling to Fresno/Madera tomorrow morning.  One of these days I'll have to blog about that city... my goodness!  anyways on my way I want to ask you one thing, who are you?
